Council Meeting

THAT the Agenda for April 7, 2026 be approved, as presented.

O'Sullivan THAT Council approve a municipal sponsorship in the amount of $3,000 to support the 2026 Ontario Provincial Disc Golf Championships, to be held in Kemptville in September 2026; AND THAT the funding be allocated to support event-related amenities including portable washrooms, water stations, event and wayfinding signage, and accommodations for spectators; AND THAT staff be directed to fund the $3,000 contribution through the Sponsorship Fund.

THAT Consent Agenda Items G.1, G.2, and G.4 be approved.

THAT Council accept the February 12, 2026 meeting minutes of the North Grenville Public Library Board of Directors.

THAT Council approves the recommendation to waive the rental fee request for the Kemptville District Hospital Auxiliary annual fundraising event at the North Grenville Municipal Centre in the amount of $2,000.00 plus HST.

THAT Council adopt By-law 40-26 being a By-law to amend By-law 78-25 being a by law to appoint Municipal Officers for the Municipality of North Grenville.

THAT Council enacts by-law 41-26 to authorize the Director of Public Works to enter into an encroachment agreement for 201 Jack Street.

THAT the Minutes of the following meetings of Council be adopted, as amended: Special Council Meeting - March 17, 2026; and, Regular Council Meeting - March 24, 2026.

THAT Council approve the North Grenville Emergency Department Physician Incentive Program as attached to Report #CS-2026-004; AND THAT Council authorize the Chief Administrative Officer and the Director of Corporate Strategy to execute any agreements within the North Grenville Emergency Department Physician Incentive Program parameters.

THAT Council proclaim April 19 through April 26, 2026 as Pitch-In Week in the Municipality of North Grenville.

THAT Council approve the purchase of a new 2027 International tandem truck and Viking plow equipment from the Rush Truck Centres of Canada - Kemptville for $418,287.52 excluding applicable taxes; AND THAT Council approve the purchase of a new 2026 JCB TM220 Telescopic Wheel Loader from Delta Power Equipment Ltd – Winchester for $179,700.00 excluding applicable taxes

THAT Council approve the re-allocation of $24,000 from the Heavy Fleet - Tandem Truck Purchase to the Heavy Fleet – 1 Ton Truck Purchase AND THAT Council approves the purchase of a new 1-ton cab and chassis truck from Bean Chevrolet Buick GMC Ltd. for $64,770.00 excluding applicable taxes

THAT the Confirmation By-Law as attached to this Agenda be read a first, second and third time, and finally passed in Open Council.
