O'Sullivan Be it resolved that: The Council agenda for its Regular Meeting on May 7, 2024 be approved as presented.

WHEREAS Breast Cancer is the most frequently diagnosed cancer in Canadian women - it can be completely cured if caught in time; AND WHEREAS 29,400 Canadian women were diagnosed with breast cancer in 2023; this represents 26% of all new cancer cases; 260 were men; AND WHEREAS 5400 women died of this disease in 2023 which represents 13% of all cancer deaths; AND WHEREAS by proclaiming National Denim Day, the Municipality of North Grenville assists the CURE Foundation for breast cancer in raising awareness about the seriousness of this women's disease. NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved that the Corporation of the Municipality of North Grenville proclaim Tuesday May 14, 2024 as "National Denim Day" in the Municipality of North Grenville.

Be it resolved that: Council receive the "Waterfront Access Strategy Report" for information purposes.

THAT Council accept and approve the draft 2022 Audited Consolidated Financial Statements as presented.

Be it resolved that: The following consent agenda items be approved as presented 1. Advisory Committee Meeting Minutes [See Item L.1.] 2. Significant Resolution - Health Wellness Fitness and Active Transportation Advisory Committee [See Item L.2.] 3. South Nation Conservation Authority - Board of Directors AGM Minutes March 21, 2024 [See Item L. 3] 4. 2024 Municipal Tax Rate and BIA Levy By-Law [See Item K.5.1] *Amendment - Item L.2. pulled from consent as per the request of Councillor Doreen O'Sullivan.

O'Sullivan THAT Council adopt the Privacy Breach Policy.

THAT Council: Approve and enact By-Law 34-24 to set the Final Municipal tax rate for the 2024 tax year. Approve and enact By-Law 35-24 to set the Old Town Kemptville Business Improvement Area (BIA) levy for 2024.

THAT Council adopt the Blue Community Policy to be implemented in phases to further support the designation of the Municipality of North Grenville as a Blue Community.

O'Sullivan THAT Council award the purchase of a Zamboni Model 526 propane ice resurfacer with options, tractor mount attachment, electric ice edger, and blade changing system from Zamboni for a total of amount of $138,260.00 plus HST.

That Council adopt the Bicycle Rack Cost-sharing Program Policy. *Amendment - THAT Council adopt the Bicycle Rack Cost-sharing Program Policy with an amendment to the Policy Statement section to include "employees" under the listed provided for between residents and patrons.

Be it resolved that: The minutes of the Board of Directors Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the South Nation Conservation Authority be approved as circulated.

Be it resolved that: This regular meeting of Council adjourn at 8:50 p.m.
