Be it Resolved: THAT the Community and Economic Development Advisory Committee proceed to Closed Session pursuant to Section 239(2) of the Municipal Act, 2001, Subsection (b) which states a meeting or part of a meeting may be closed to the public if the subject matter being considered is personal matters about identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees, specifically respecting nominations for the 2025 Bill Thake Award.

McNeil Be it resolved THAT WHEREAS the Community and Economic Development Advisory Committee has nominated an individual for the 2025 Bill Thake Award for Economic Development Leadership; WHEREAS this citizen has demonstrated exceptional commitment and leadership, significantly enhancing the Leeds Grenville economy through their volunteer efforts; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that this individual be recommended to Council to support the nomination and encourages all community members to acknowledge and celebrate the nominee’s exceptional achievements and contributions to economic development in Leeds Grenville.
